This knife comes with the display shown in the photos. The large Penguin stands approx. 8 inches and the small Penguin is approx 4 inches. They are made from a resin cast and hand painted and finished. The base of the display is acrylic that I hand carved to try and resemble water. The handle of the knife sits on what is suppose to be a Ice Berg. The blade on the knife was ground by my friend Jack ONeill and it is really beautiful. I wanted a Wharencliffe style blade that kind of resembles the flow of the handle and Jack you nailed it on this one. Thanks again Jack:D Specs on the package are below.

Knife OAL; 11 inches
Blade; 7 inches of ATS 34 5/32 thick and heat treated in Jacks shop to 61. Satin machine finished
Handle; Documented Sperm Whale tooth that comes with the original box that was sold as a scrimshaw kit in 1952 from a shop back east. I scrimshawed on the tooth a baby Penguin standing between its parents. The guard is a black piece of acrylic with file work.

Asking $1600.00 which includes the knife and display plus free shipping in the USA. I can only ship the Sperm Whale tooth in the USA not out of country.Sorry! I will take a postal money order for payment or Pay Pal at R2D2Fly@charter.net if you want to pay the fees. Thanks a bunch for taking a look and any and all comments are always appreciated:)

very nice Ray .

Folks , as the whole concept for this creation was Ray's , I did not put my makers mark on the blade . He spec'ed the blade he wanted for this art piece and I asked no questions . But , the butthead insisted on a swedge and I hate doing swedges and he did not even mention it . :D

Very nice Ray . I am proud my blade is on this artistic creation .
