penn. deer hunting

I hope this is ok in to ask inthis forum my appologies if not. Do any of you guys hunt in penn . A buddy of mine and I are looking at going next fall and are wondering if there are any good public lands / wild life management areas to hunt also looking to find a campground to stay at.

Not sure what part of PA you are looking for, but Hickory Run in Carbon County has EXCELLENT areas to hunt and part of the campground (No hookups in winter) is open year round.

I may go up there myself next year.
 
Not sure what area you are looking at but here are a few links. I think you are looking for one of the state game lands. I can't help as far as a good one because I don't hunt in any of them. Once you pick one finding a campground should just be a google search away. It should go without saying but be sure to have a good map and compass etc.. They search for lost hunters in the state game lands all the time. Welcome and Good Luck!
