To me such a knife is priceless because we don't have pennies in Canada anymore 
It is certainly a traditional design and one I'd like to add to my collection. For me there are two type of traditionals (beyond old and new) and those are: American/English designs and what I call more tribals; the tribals are often low cost productions that work with nothing fancy: Opinels, Penny knives, Douk Douk, etc. Tribals often go back 100 years or so, everyday peoples working knives from a certain region.
