I was sent to VRA by my ophthalmologist in late 2018 to make sure my eyes were in reasonably good shape except for the cataracts I was scheduled to have "fixed" in January 2019. Dr. Glazer and his laser "welded" a retinal tear he discovered, and I returned to VRA once or twice a year for check-ups. They seemed interested in updates on a "vitreal veil" in my right eye. There were at least 5 eye specialists in the practice, and about 2 years ago I heard that Dr. Glazer was planning to retire, but it turned out the entire practice shut down. So now I go someplace else for yearly check-ups, and all I have left of VRA is this crummy pen.
