Pens....what is your favorite?

Thanks neeman, I've been reading up and Noodlers has come up several times. I'll look into them. THe Fine tip Safari I got writes thicker than I like so I'm also gonna look into ordering an extra fine nib.

Noodlers bulletproof black works very well in the Lamy
It is a strong black that is waterproof when dry

Or Noodler's 54th Massachusetts for blue-black and Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher(currently in my Lamy Safari) for deep blue.

Oddly enough, after years of doing MAFs, just the plain 'ol US Gov't Skilcraft black clickie works fine for me...

Those are actually quite good pens.:thumb up: I think I wrote a few miles of paper work with them when I was in the army.

TiBolt as of the other day. Been using fountain pens for years, Pelikan M215 for the last few, but have need for a non-fountain pen sometimes and so I went looking for a really nice and fun ballpoint. TiBolt is perfect, comfortable, great cartridge, and just fun to play with. Liked it so much I've ordered a backup. Not cheap, but I have a pen at my side all day at work for taking notes...so anything that can help make those 8 hrs/day a little more pleasurable is well worth the expense in my book.

Also have a Maxmadco bolt action coming my way so it'll be fun to compare to the TiBolt.

You need to add a Karas Kustoms Bolt pen to that collection!

You just had to go and say that....now you have me looking at them. At least the aluminum Bolt is pretty inexpensive...

Can anyone her post a picture of a Hinderer ED pen next to a Matthew Martin pen for size comparison...preferably a clicky style Matthew Martin? I want to pick one up but not if its as small as it looks.

kind of getting pissed off with karas customs. I've called and emailed with no response . I signed up for the newsletter which I never received so I missed my chance to buy a INK and again I'm back to no response to emails .

how the sh!t is that a way to run a business .

Currently I use the Pilot G2 Bold pens. This is a good time of the year to pick up a bunch cheap with school supplies on sale. I picked up some four packs for $4 each. Cheaper than the refills.

Apparently there's a mod you can do to the Montblanc gel refills to make them work in the Pilot G2 bodies. Just cut off a bit at the end to fit (just google it).

However, reviewers say the Montblanc refills dry up real fast these days, so I didn't bother with it when you can buy the G2 pen for a buck.

I bought two pens from them. No issues at all...

Personally, I am using a regular stainless steel Parker pen. It is comfortable to use, easy to carry, good quality, and if I loose it I can just go to any stationary store and buy another one. ;)
