What have you guys got in pens?

This is what I got, besides the million little cheap Bics and clicky ones.

I EDC a Sharpie twin-tip (fine and xtra fine) in my LF pocket. Comes in very handy.

Yeah the Fisher Bullet is always with me. It's a little beat up but is super small and writes like nobodys business.

Pilot G2 Limited.

Not as fancy as some, but I love this pen. It writes very smoothly and is comfortable to use for extended periods of time.

Nice para in the background and T. Erdelyi the Schrade/Smith and Wesson tactical pens can use the Space Pen refill?

My favorite is a Lamy which was a gift from my brother several Christmasses ago. At first, I was lukewarm on it, but the doctors at The Fountain Pen Hospital diagnosed my over the phone and I now get prescription refills and am very happy (I press very hard and need a ceramic roller ball refill from Germany).

I stick to a yellow Lamy Safari with medium nib and Aurora Black ink. The thing writes so darn well it's unbelievable. Before that, I was using Uni-Ball Impacts, and before that, Pilot Precise V5 and V7.

Loads.

Retro 51's, some Parker 51's a 61 and a 45. CountyComm Tactical pen, Pilot/Namiki Vanishing Point, some Lamy Studios. Some odds and ends like a Platinum and Sailor FP. I tend to use the VP the most though.

How do you like your 51's, both Retro and Parker? I've heard them described as the standard in what to expect out of a fountain pen. Also haven't really heard anything but good about those Namiki VPs. Good stuff.

The Retro's are great ballpoints. The only thing I dislike are that they refills I find are fine point only and I prefer medium. My Parker 51's are fantastic. My favorite is a Cedarwood Vacumatic from 1947. I use it sparingly though, I worry about losing it or it breaking and I'd not like that much at all. If you are looking for vintage FP's try www.fountainpennetwork.com . Great place for pens of all sorts.

Monteverde fountain pen and roller ball.
The fountain was a gift from my mom before she passed and I use blue ink in the rollerball for signing vouchers.

I feel out-penned right now. I really do like my Cross though I wish it was somewhat grippier but it looks super classy so I like it :p.

Oh, yeah, I'm already a member. Strange how knives, guns, lights, watches, and pens are all common hobbies among many members here. I've just been scouring around trying to find discontinued Noodlers inks. Man, do I miss Zhivago.

Yeah, everytime I get into a new hobby I find something else.

When I came here all I wanted was knives, now I need Pens, Lighters, Flashlights, Tritium and who knows what. I'm not even going to look into fountain pens cause I know my money will just jump out of my pocket.

It has a habit of doing that :D

Just wait till you get to watches. There have been some watches on my wishlist for years now. I just hope there's still some Stowa Antea 365's around by the time I jump the gun.

I have a nice Armitron watch that I wear sometimes. I used to wear it everyday but it just started to bother me so I just use my phone as a watch now.

There's just something special about using a fine pen, even if it's just to jot down a quick note - pretty much the same feeling one gets from carrying/using a nice knife.

Lately, I've been alternating between these two. I know that I will probably be branded as a heretic but I prefer gells/rollerballs to fountain pens. Also, I know that many purists will scoff at this, but I've been using Mont Blancs for many many years and, no matter what others I try, I always seem to go back to them (+ I just plain like the look and feel of the LeGrand).

The Montegrappa is my current favorite. It was a Hannukah gift (perfect color for it...;):D) from my dad and is a joy to use and even sometimes just admire throughout the day.
