From my Finnish Knives page:
"Forged stainless" is Marttiini mystery steel, a lot like the mystery forged stainless in a lot of upscale German kitchen knives. It's awfly sharp as-issued, with a zero edge bevel, and probably soft enough to sharpen with the stone on the whole bevel.
The cast bronze work is nice, though you won't mistake it for a custom knife. But it's not priced like a custom knife either.
This one has been around a while. Maybe the fresh scans and a special price tag of $120.00 including shipping (but no "good karma cut donation at that level) will move it out the door.

M555 Peregrine - $143.00 (msrp - $170.50)
Not traditional, but it would not look out of place at any event where dress-up knives are worn. Maybe a medieval or renaissance event, as long as you are not a stickler for historical correctness. The stylized falcon head is bronze, and the eye could serve as a lanyard hole. The handle is rosewood. The blade is 4.3" of forged stainless. It will also work in the woods, of course.
