Here is the latest axe I just finished up. This one is my Peregrine model with black micarta scales.
These are compact axes, that are built like tanks. They would be right at home in either hunting pack or on your tactical rig.
Here are the specs.

Oal - 11"
Head length - 5 1/4"
Cutting edge - 2 7/8'
Steel - 3/8" 4140 through hardened with a spring tempered tang for extra durability
Handle - Black micarta scales, attached with 1/4" allen screws and G-flex epoxy for a rock solid handle.
Sheath - Kydex w/ quick release bungee retention.
