Hahaha, watch out, all you punks! Gigante is coming to GET YOU !!

It's 3 o'clock at night, and I just did a couple of perfect basic finger twirls, with no fingers getting in the way !!
What a rush !!

Oh yeah... I can FEEL THE POWER surging through my veins... my almighty BALISONG POWER!

Unfortenately, I fear that my cheapie is going to die soon, the pins are loose and the handles are reeeal shaky... and I haven't got my Jag's yet ! What to do?

Hmm.. now that I've mastered the finger twirl.. it doesn't seem so complicated or flashy anymore.. the same goes for all the moves, I think... but maybe it's just me...
maybe the moves are still flashy for all the mortals who doesn't know the secret behind them...

Now, I will to into the desert, to medidate, for five years... and when I return, i will be ready to meet up with Sensei Clay and Gollnick, for the FINAL BALISONG SHOWDOWN!

Now I'm gonna catch some z's...

Good for you!!!
I've tried and tried and haven't gotten it smooth enough to suit me yet, always fall back to the other openings....practice practice practice I guess!

Now you need TWO Bali's and twirl them at the same time! I can work two at the same time but not the twirl thingy....oh well

Congratulations. The finger twirl is a difficult trick for many to get through. Once mastered, it can become the basis of a lot of fun tricks.

Excellent.

Nobody's ever called me Sensei before. I've been called Guru, but that's a mistake too. Idiot is a title I seem to get a lot too.

Wow, I just surprised myself. The finger twirl turned out to be one of those manuvers that felt really natural once I broke it down into the steps on Clay's page. The thumb position had me confused for a little while but once I figured that out, the balisong felt like it was rolling through my hands. I am by no means really good with my knife but there are certain moves that seem like I've known them for years. Just don't ask me to do a backhand basic, I still have trouble with that one.

This is the one! If you can do this one (anyone) from Clay's page, you are surely a master. I don't care what else you CAN'T do! But this is the bomb sh*t right here.

well the finger twirl came really naturally to me because I've been flipping pens in a similar manner for a long time and I do a lot of finger excersizes of that sort when i'm bored.

That move has become the basis of my manipulation routines. its a great, fast, and flashy way to go from underhand position to overhand. Its at a point where i've forgotten most of the basic moves
