Perfect EDC SAK combo

I learned an EDC method from jackknife over on the traditional forum: Wenger Esquire (picked it up at a yard sale for $1.50 I think) on the key ring with a p38 can opener and a Craftsman 'coin style' keychain screwdriver in my wallet (flat and weighs almost nothing). I can carry pretty much any knife along with that combo and be well prepared. My favorite 'big' SAK is a Spartan ii that I got off the place named after the river for an absolute steal of a price. So the Spartan plus the Esquire gives me pretty much every tool I'd need from a SAK. Or I can go with a traditional folder and still be well heeled as far as tools go with the Esquire, p38, and Craftsman coin style screwdriver.

Classic SD on my keys, Cadet in front left pocket, and either a spyderco or Emerson in the front right pocket.

I keep an Evowood Swiss Clip 580 in my bag that I carry to work. It's useful for simple tasks. For a useful pair to carry, I like the Manager with my keys and a Small Tinker, although I usually end up carrying one or the other instead of both.

My favorite combo would be my Farmer paired with my Wenger Pocket tool chest. It gives me the beefy tolls of a 93mm for bigger dirtier jobs and the smaller tools plus scale tools of the 63mm for smaller jobs.

I pair a Vic Adventurer with my Vic Spirit multi-tool. Lately I have been carrying a ZT 0770CF also. Sometimes I switch to a GEC #42 in a pocket slip and a smaller 93mm SAK with a minimum amount of tools similar to the Adventurer or Tinker kind of design.

Farmer + Manager

The perfect combo of overbuilt Alox goodness, and handy scissors, tweezers, a real inline Philips driver and the ever so handy pen, far more useful than the toothpick

In fact, the Manager has replaced my Fisher x750 Space Pen, I just fold out both screwdrivers and it becomes a nearly full length pen
