My Kershaw/Ken Onion Random Task was the first 100$+ knife, and as much as it pained me to fork out 150$ (canadian) for it, I fell in love with the feel of the handle, and the speed-safe feature didn't hurt. Unfortunately, it's a few years old now, and doesn't lock up as nicely as it use to, and the blade is starting to show some side-to-side play, so I don't carry it anymore.
Now, I carry my new Spydie Endura lightweight everyday, and it feels like a dream, and is lightning-fast. I'm not sure if I'm crazy about the handle being FRN, not sure if I trust it strength-wise, but I don't plan on using the knife to cut down any trees.
I really like the feel of my CS Recon Tanto, but that's not exactly an EDC knife, a bit big and scary for city use.
