Performance Differences Between Coarse and Fine Edge?

If you want to try higher grits on the cheap I suggest you try sandpaper or polishing paper on a solid medium.

I use a set of 30-1 micron 3M polishing paper for stropping, although I find best results only using the 30 and 20.
