I come to this forum for general bsing about any subject.
If the grunts wanna talk about guns then why shouldn't we be allowed to talk about guns?
The place aint gonna explode is it?
You've probably noticed through your own forum surfing that each forum has it's own group or click of people that frequent that forum. It's like a club.
As was said in a previous post, as long as it doesn't get too raunchy, what's the big deal?

That makes sense in the more serious forums Ken but this a more relaxed, kicked back forum where we show up just to shoot the breeze. Uh, oh, since I said shoot the breeze, does that make this a gun related post and mean it will be sent to another forum?

Are you just busting my chops now or are you serious? Shoot the breeze all you want just keep gun talk and gadget talk in its respective forum and everything will be ok. I'm not asking for a whole lot here.

There isn't much here that's new. We've always moved anything on guns, scopes, holsters, etc. to Gadgets & Gear. There have been a lot of them posted in the wrong forum lately, and there's a new moderator in Community Center who, being new, hasn't gotten used to how boneheaded people can be about a simple thing like putting discussion about gadgets & gear in the Gadgets & Gear forum. Maybe he'll get used to it or maybe he'll flip out and go crazy, hard to say what will happen. I hope he doesn't quit because if he does I'll have to go back to moving all those threads from Community Center to Gadgets & Gear myself, and there are even more of them now than there used to be and I have a few other things to try to keep up with around here. So don't expect him to be fired even if he goes crazy. He might get disgusted and quit, but as long as he's sane enough to move threads and willing to do it we'll keep him on, gibbering or no gibbering.

I did send that one over a bit to quickly. After re-reading the text it most certainly belonged in Political. My apologies to gajinoz for that.

As I've told Mr. Collucci this wasn't any sort of problem for me and, considering how this thread is going I'd like to say why.

I run a forum myself, (yes, I know, every man and his duck runs a forum but I just mention it to let you know that I do have some clue about how these things work.)

Running a forum that works well, like BF for instance, is not an easy task and, at times, it can get bloody frustrating. There is NO way you can keep everyone happy, no matter what decision you make somebody is going to get p!ssed off, that's the nature of the game.

The mods generally have a pretty thankless task and sometimes have to make decisions that could easily go either way but they make their best judgement and whatever that is, and as long as the forum owner is happy with the way they do things, then people should accept it and not bitch about it. If you have a concern about a particular decision, PM the guy and ask for his reasons. Bitching about it in public does little more than create trouble and quite likely will make people think you're some kind of arsehole.
