Custom hand-made Period French Belt Knife
Blade Steel: 1095 high carbon steel, tempered to a Rockwell 59-60
Construction: Full Tang
Dimensions: Blade 6" - Handle 4 1/2" - Overall 10 1/2" - Width 1 5/16" - Thickness 1/8"
Scales: Beautiful, grainy black walnut pistol grip scales with cross hatching, secured with four solid brass pins.
Sheath: Hand stitched 7-8 oz. Veg tan leather with welt. "Antiqued" - Decorated with fringe, horsehair dangles, tin cones and beads.
Finish: Satin aged finish. Period correct.
Special Feature: File worked blade.
This knife is stamped with my makers mark NR and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
