One of a kind prototype with Kydex sheath.
Knife is insane.
I bought this from sniperboy as an early Xmas present to myself, and it is still in mint condition (well, as "mint" as any new Perrin can be). The thread I acquired it in is HERE.
Knife has never been used -- except to test the edge on a roll of paper towels -- and it is scary sharp. Still coated with original oil.
Knife is designed to be worn under one's shirt like a La Griffe, and the draw is absolutely silent. Not a push dagger -- held like a regular knife, and is secure and comfortable in the hand.
Light and FAST. The blade sings as it cuts through the air. Wicked, bloodthirsty thing. My girlfriend calls it my "Horror Movie Knife."
This knife has NO utilitarian value whatsoever. It is designed for two purposes: To frighten people; and to slash the hell out of things. And it talks to me in my sleep. It wants me to take it for walks after midnight. Fortunately it has been really cold outside -- and Colorado law sez blade length needs to be under 3.5".
I paid $250 for this one of a kind Fred Perrin custom just a few months ago. I really like it a lot . . . perhaps a bit too much. I am sorely tempted to EDC this under my bike vest, but have been trying to be a "good citizen" as of late and am conflicted about violating the law to carry this scary cool knife that is considerably more intimidating than a straight razor.
The mechanic billed me nearly $800 last week for work on the trike, and yesterday I saw an oil leak on the Toyota . . . so I am putting this blade up for sale.
$195 -- shipped Priority Mail + insurance. Prefer PayPal for this one and I'll eat the fees.
Price is FIRM. And if it doesn't sell before my next paycheque it is likely to be withdrawn. No trades.
