For your consideration I have completed my first 100% start to finish knife. 1080 round stock hammered out to 3/32" (Did get a bit over zealous so there is scoring in the tang pictured below). Fitted the handle to mainly right hand carry though comfortable for left as well and secured with 3/32 brass pins. 800 grit near mirror polish on the blade and Redwood Burl handle to 600 grit smooth as silk. 11 3/8'" OAL, handle to tip is 6 1/16", with the cutting edge at 6 1/2". Overall with existing scoring in the tang I cannot be happier with the end result and I must say it conforms to the hand extremely well.
