Persian (pics + video review)

So, I just found the persian on the emerson website, but I had to search for it on the search bar. I cannot for the life of me find the persian simply by looking at the available knives under "knives". Is it just me or are others having this issue? And is it even in stock? I just placed an order for the persian tactical BT. I didn't see anything that said that it was on back order or a waiting list or anything. And it processed my order. I hope to get my Persian soon! =)

By the way, may sound like a stupid question, but does Persian Tactical BT mean the black version? Because they also had a Persian Tactical SF.

PS I did my own video comparison between the bedlam and the persian, as well as my very first cut test using a bottle a little over half way into the video. I forgot some stuff like the gimping, but i think i covered all the basics... i hope. And I compared and contrasted the persian a little with the commander. I apologize for not having a down facing angle on the camera to keep the knives on screen constantly, I just don't have the hardware and did it all from an iPhone 6 rating against my laptop to give me the angle I got.

Hmm, I just looked too and you are right. I thought it was I the limited availability area but it seems to have been removed.

Seems it would make it hard to sell them if they can't be easily found. Hopefully ER sees this and they can update the site.

Edit, yes you are correct, bt =black blade.
 
Thank you! Part of me didn't want to share that, to save up and buy a second one before they sold out. But my love for the forum and for everyone here, despite me not posting much, I had to share. =P

Anyone know roughly how long emerson takes to ship if you do the free shipping option? I ordered my persian on sunday night, it should be here soon hopefully. But they don't offer shipping info when you do the free shipping.
 
Pat, given you making an order on a Sunday and making an educated guesstimate, I would imagine your knife should arrive on Thursday. But that's just a guess.

Thank you so much, Joe! I am just a little over excited for my persian, my birthday is on sunday so I am hoping it arrives before then, and I wasn't sure what shipping they use for the free one.

Looks great and Happy Birthday! I must live a little farther away than you from Emerson, as I ordered mine the same time you did and didn't receive it yet. I went for the Tactical SF. Cant wait!
 
I hope you get yours soon! By the way, the free shipping is usps priority. I noticed the box. And I live in Miami fl. I would figure that's as far as it gets. Lol
 
Thanks, I'm in the middle of nowhere in Missouri so I will be waiting for the mail tomorrow for sure. My Tiger took about a week as well when I ordered that one.
 
Any of you guys know someone who can make me a set of persian scales similar to that of the bedlam? With that smooth g10?
 
Those Persians are sexy looking... anyone know how long they will be available?
 
I don't know , but i ordered a second one. I loved it so much and I don't know how long they will be available for... i felt it was warranted.
