Hi folks , this was my idea of a nice Persian/Turkish fighter . I'm sure a Turk in battle would not mind carrying it . It is 3/16th A-2 tool steel , flat ground satin finished . Heat treated to an Rc. 60-61 with a cyro soak .

O.A.L. is 14-1/8"
Blade is 9" long ,rounded spine , sharpened edge is 8-1/4"
Widest point at guard is 1-1/2"
Guard is M3 mokume gain , a new space age metal
Handle is dyed & stabilized Giraffe bone , mortised hidden tang with brass pins
Weight is 12 oz. light and quick

Some I suspect are still unsure of being able to comment on how nicely a knife is executed. 750+ views and I'm thinking at least 750 dreams of some serious slashing! That baby looks like it would slice anything on it's own as long as you could hang on to it!

I think you should make a sheath for her. I myself don't buy "display" pieces; I surely wouldn't cut anything with this beauty unless "I had to"; but for me I would want to put her in my carry rotation.

... there are 750 that think it's an outstanding piece, and I for one would take it if the situation allowed. We should be speaking up however, I think all are afraid as I am that the urge to drop would overcome common sense at this time. Truly outstanding.

Tomorrow I am going to start making a sheath for this knife as suggested by the above forum member . Once I start the sheath this thread will be closed and this price no longer available . When the sheath is finished I will repost with an adjusted price .
