Here is a knife I just finished that matches one I posted earlier with a Persian flare. Warthog tusk and my Damascus of 1080 and 15n20. All fittings Damascus. Blade length is 7 1/4 inches and overall is 12 1/2 inches long. Best looking warthog tusk I have ever seen. Stand is black Walnut. NO LONGER AVAILABLE which includes mail in CONT. Talk about a contradiction terms......a hog tusk on a Persian style knife with it's roots in Islam, lol. Great looking knife.
 
Sunonthebeach! Thats a good lookin knife!!! I think it's especially good/unique/custom to buy a Damascus blade from the guy who actually made the damascus. Buying a damascus knife from someone who bought the damascus and then made a knife from it just isn't the same... Just my $.02 on that.

Dan's damascus is excellent in use as well as in looks, by the way. :thumbup:
 
Man, that is nice, and I would like it even if you didnt make the Damascus! A great knife is a great knife and I appreciate your style and design. Its nice to see makers build one offs, not the same patterns all the time. Great job and someone is going to be happy with this one.
