persimmon burl

i will post picture when i get to my sisters but i originally thought it was a huge hickory burl but now i dont know. the figure is out of this world. it is loaded with specles/eyes and turns reddish when spritz with water. the beauty of this burl stands up there with the best of burls--i am amazed. if anyone has photos of hickory or persimmon burl please post. ill post mine around monday or tuesday. thanks-marekz

not burl but I have some spalted persimmon on a skull mount not a knife which sucks but its awsome i'll post some

That's would be cool if it is persimmon. I've never heard of any type of ebony burl before.

well ill go ahead and get it on tonight. It is persimmon cause its the tree here in georgia that has the fruits on it. man wait till you see this--marekz
