Steve-
Dude, Knock it off. I'm broke. ;)
Nice stuff folks- I have a couple of Steve's knives- good work.

Thanks, guys! Interesting story goes with this one... as I was grinding it, before heat treat or hardening or anything, I was flattening the handle on my belt grinder. Out of the blue the belt caught it and fired it straight into the floor. It was tip down, and it shot through the thick plastic water bucket under my grinder, and went through thick carpet anbd carpet pad, and stuck point down right into the CONCRETE floor! It also took a nice big hunk of skin off my pinky with it (I washed it, don't worry!) :barf:
Anyway, once I stopped bleeding and keeping water from going all over the place, I pulled the knife out of the concrete floor and I was very surprised to see that the only damage was a little rounding off of the tip! I ground that out, obviously, but I expected the whole blade to be flat as a pancake! So, while I don't recommend cutting or stabbing concrete with one of my knives, it was nice to see that it held up okay to this abuse! ;)

Back to the top! Still available! Have something cool to show off at the Blade show! :D

If I had the money....
Sadly.. I'm still not at the point where I'd buy something I couldn't carry legally around... damn. Looks like a fine knife.

Sold! Sorry to those who were waiting in the wings... There's always next time! I can't say another one exactly like this will reappear, but on the horizon are Tactical Orange Peelers and Tactical Grapefruit Peelers, and maybe even a matched set or two! :D And folders! And stainless steel stuff! And.... (but don't hold your breath!)

So I'm guessing that the Grapefruit peelers are larger orange peelers
You got my attention...

Yep! Tactical Grapefruit Peelers will be basically the same general blade shape (Wharncliffe/Sheepsfoot) with a length closer to 3.5" and a handle of 4" or so.
