Personal Msg for Mick Strider

a 16 yearold Wanna Be

Ah Jeez...

does your mama know you're using her computer?
Brush your teeth & go to bed.

Subzero,
There is an old line that says "I get too soon old, and too late smart".
Right now you are on the verge of manhood, but your attitude is definetly childish.
I'm going to add a few cents worth of advice here. Accept it if you want, but read it.
The world does not revolve around computers or the net. Loose your cutsey way of posting. We could care less about your lack of grammer, but eventually you will have to live in the real world, and cyber nerds are not among those respected by warriors. Geek talk may be fine for your geek buddies, but it doesn't cut it in the real world.
If you want into the real world, act like it.
Don't decide to pick fights with people you don't know. Anyone can have balls when seated behind a computer screen. However, the first time someone makes contact with your nose via an an impact weapon, perception becomes reality. It is painfully apparent that you have never had your ass kicked, and it will come as a great awakening when you do.
There are actually some people on the forum who do real things for a living. They do not have wet dreams over computer games and believe that is all that is necessary to fight.
Some of us take this very seriously.

If you want something, ask. Trying to pound your chest ain't the way to go. It only convinces people that you are a fool.
Provide your alleged friends complete name, SSAN, and military address (off line) and someone will contact him re a Strider.

Youth is no excuse for stupidity. Lately, on this and other forums, we have had a number of adolescents acting out their fantasies. It is obnoxious at best, and shows poor upbringing.

So, continue to post but loose your attitude. This carries over into your personal life too. I note on your website that among other things you like "wine and beer". At 16, that is not only stupid, but also illegal.

Apologizing to Vinnie would be a good start.

Ur all fools HaHaHaHa...

Nothing is illegal until ur caught!

I Know I know.. Im not right..

-Brian

Brian

You have failed to take notice and have shown what you are really made of.

Go someplace else and play with your troll friends.Continue to think that honor and integrity are just words in a book, and fail to have any meaning.
If you are one of those who believe that something is only wrong if you get caught- as you just stated- welcome to the crowd.
The crowd that occupies prisons. I have personnaly put several hundred idiots just like you away, where they will now be Bubba's bitch.

You are well on the way to having a miserable and wasted life.

Adios Brian!

Vinnie,
It both offends and frightens me to see how common that is. The internet has made everyone an expert, and sitting in front of the keyboard has given a great many wannabe's and posers the anonymity to make comments that they would and could never make in person.
The lack of professionalism exhibited by many is worrisome, but the lack of honor and integrity is fatal.

Shoot me an e mail- i need your address, my laptop went TU in the mishap, and i have some pictures for you.

I have kids. If my 15 year old acted this way, I would KICK HIS FREAKIN A$$

Brian, you are not only immature, but you are a very sad representative of today's youth. We all owe you youngsters something and you are all "bullet-proof Wannabes"

Just remember when you TRY to enlist as a Boot in the USMC, Vinnie will be MAJOR Pallucci by then and you will be on your face pumping out as much puke as you will be push-ups.

But sumtin tells Me that you just will not pass the "SIKE" test. Grow up, find a good shrink and wait until you grow some hair around them little balls before you think you even have any.

Phucking kids:rolleyes:

Internet call signs that reflect the score of your most recent IQ test do little to protect your true identity. Anyone posting to a public forum can easily be located. ;)

This kids gonna be a Marine? You have to be $hitting me...SuBZeRo you just couldn't take a hint, I wouldn't want you in the armed forces at all. Janitorial work near MCRD is as close as you'll get to the marines if you act like this in the real world.

The scary part is it is hard to tell who the kids are and who aern't.
I don't mean to insult anyone, although I am sure someone will be insulted. The fact that kids come to the forum can't be helped unless we all go to secure server for the forums. By attacking a kid you just set your self up for a rant of retaliation from someone who is brave from a safe distance and lacking in knowledge. That said it was kinda a funny post. Have fun with it.

Subzero,
At this point, your apology to this forum won't help you at all, but you may think of the disrespect you just brought to "Robert Wold".
If I were him, and read this, I would be less than pleased, for you are a reflection upon him.
I am in full agreement with my friends and fellow Brothers in Arms who have tried to steer you towards a proper way to step down from this. Controversy is not a problem on this forum, if done respectfully.
You bring nothing worth discussing to our forum. Either do so, or go away.

Hey!
That was wierd, that last post went out under Mick's password therefore with his name. Just to clear the air, I sent it and am now squared away on the password thing.

...guys, Duane, Vinnie, Pat, et al, you guys bring some serious professionalism to the forums, and for that we salute you.

I tried, Pat tried, and a few others tried...but that what can't be helped, in this case an immature child, can't be helped...and that's a shame.

Agreeing with Brandon, there are 'youngster's' here that can and do have the same respect and maturity to 'share' in our forums...BlueFlintHawk and Snow come to mind, and then there are the 'children' too, both 'of' and 'under' age that come here as well...

Someone put it most succinctly, paraphrased, "When you get your ass kicked hard for the first time, a whole new world will open up before your eyes..." ;)

And that, that is life...

Keep up the good work guys...You rock!

Mel

To all the adult members posting in this forum...I commend you for telling this kid what he needs to hear! Not that he will listen and ever understand how right you all are.

To Brian-
Age is not an excuse. I am 17. Does that give me the right to insult men of twice my age who have wisdom ten times greater than mine? No! No...it doesn't. You know, it's great that you want to buy a knife for your Marine buddy. Here's a hint though...get off your ass and go work for it. Work for it the same way that all the guys on this forum worked for their knives. If you are not willing to pay the price for the quality you get when you buy a Strider or Busse, then go buy 20 "authentic" bowie knives off the late info-mercials for $99.99.
To repeat what Mr. Dwyer said...There is nothing wrong with disagreement on these forums. Bladeforums.com is about communicating with others interested in knives and survival. Sometimes we agree...and then sometimes not. But hopefully all of us follow a code of chivalry and proper conduct. You Brian, obviously haven't grown up enough to understand this.
You know why you piss me off? Because you don't give people like Vinnie and other guys here the respect they deserve. You are a disgrace to the other young guys on here like me and Rob(BlueFlintHawk). It would be different if you had apologized for what you said and shaped up your bad attitude. But you didn't. You were rude, satirical, and disrespectful. I wouldn't want Vinnie or anyone else here to waste their timing kicking your ass because I would gladly do it myself. You are a prime example of the crap I have to put up with at school. You're the kid who distracts everyone from learning just to get attention. When you finally grow up, why don't you talk with proper grammer and sincerely apologize for being wrong.
Regards,
Luke Freeouf

I for one, commend you!

"Good on ya bud"...for telling it 'like it is'!

If I can ever help you out with anything knife related, please look me up. You've made a friend here.

I appreciate the nice comments guys. I call them how I see them. I wonder if what I wrote was too harsh...but at the same time, he probably needed to hear from someone his age. I hope I did more good than damage. I think Bladeforums is a great place to learn people skills for us young guys...as I certainly learned many the hard way. Let's hope subzero stays around and learns some too. :)
Peace
Luke
