Personal Survival Knife

I Love this knife and especially at this price point! I can not think of a better deal than this knife. The Only one that came close was the Becker BK15 on closeout price of $39.99, which is gone now... The difference being, I like Johns steel better.

I am currently in a going through a rough patch financially since my work place has cut back on hours due to the summer ending and killing business.

I would have been in for 2, one with a drop point and one straight back/trailing point...

I thought these would be the hot item for Christmas, especially at this price. I'm glad I don't have a job in marketing!

I would love one in a sheepsfoot design the only problem is the car accident ruined my fun money budget probably until after Christmas.

I just posted about this in the Wilderness Gear forum, hoping for more input from the guys who don`t frequent this forum.

One more ordered! fishiker - I replied to your email, but never heard back. If you want another one I can do it the beginning of January.

Replied with order confirmation for another. I love this one and can't wait to try one with a full flat grind:thumbup:

Here's a pic showing the JK-PSK beside one of the more popular small blades an ESEE Izula. I really like the Izula so thought it fair to compare the PSK to it. I have never had an issues with the 1095 that ESEE uses but if given the choice would prefer O1 for a knife this size. I have only used the PSK for normal daily tasks where it has excelled at everything. It comes right back to a hair popping edge with only a few strokes on a leather strop. The "taco" or foldover style sheath that John made for the PSK allows it do ride comfortably in a front pocket and not leave a noticeable print through my jeans. I hope to do a head to head cutting comparison someday. If you are considering an EDC fixed blade you should give serious consideration to John's PSK.

Sign me up for the PSK with full flat grind and Teak handles please. No sheath needed.

Thank you,
bigC

This is a great knife! Just the right size to drop in a pocket and forget it's there until you need it. And the sleeve is secure enough that you can wear it inverted as a neck knife or hang it from a pack strap. It also fits nicely in a personal survival kit.
