Hello, I have the ss639 Dakota drop point blade that I personalized. What I did was acid etch the whole thing until it was a dark grey color to get rid of the coating that it had. Then, I stonewashed the sharp half only, and I polished up the handle half With my buffing machine. I also polished the spine and the very tops of the gimping. I sharpened it, and wrapped the handle in dark grey paracord first, then with electric blue paracord. I'm not gonna lie, it looks sweet. I don't know what steel it is, but it got really sharp when I put an edge on it.

I will definitely send a picture of it to anyone, and if they are interested in trading for it, I will send more detailed pics. I'm only wanting to trade because it is a big knife for me. It's 9 1/2 inches overall.

I'm hoping to trade it for a folder. Let me know what you have! Thanks!
