Petersen Universal Height Gauge for sale. This tool is made to fit your dial or digital calipers and will accept dial indicators as well. ( calipers and dial indicator not included ) The base is hard chromed and the scribe is hardened O-1 tool steel . Only 8 of these prototypes were made by California master machinist Mike Petersen and I have the last 5 of them. The gauge set includes the base, a hardwood fitted box, gauge arm and scribe, an Allen wrench, and a screw in adaptor to hold a dial indicator. I use mine to scribe the lines on my blade edge before grinding. The tool is completely hand made and beautifully finished. $137.00 plus $6.00 shipping.
