Pet Peeves...

I thought of another pet peeve.

When manufacturers state the blade length, and don't state the actual useable edge length.

Also, restrictions on autos, and balisongs, etc.

P.S. Did I mention my distaste for mimes?

I don't like waiting for knives in the mail,
I don't like people who think freedom of speech lets them burn (action) the flag.Speech is one thing action is another.I also don't like for someone to take my money and back order the product. One even sugested that if product was not available they would replace it with one of equal value, not.Phone sales people who can't take no for an answer.Well that enough for now I don't want to get started.

People that refuse to believe that my knives are sharp, run their thumb down the edge & cut themselves. Last month a guy at work filleted his thumb, no blood but his fingerprint is definately different.
Others?
People who don't shut doors.
Dogs that pee in the house.
Car stereos that are audible indoors.
Horn honking instead of bell ringing.
Not being able to afford a Fisk (NLT) blade

I'll stop now, it could be a long list

Well now that Full tang brought up exchange rates........

Try paying $650 for a Battle Mistress because of a .54 cent exchange.

The endless debates over whether one lock is stronger than the other. For example:

"My Rolling lock holds 900 pounds"
"But my Axis lock holds 1000 pounds"

See my point? What are we, elephants?

Aaaaaaaanyway, waiting stinks also

I'm normally not one to voice my Pet Peeves (though I have a few like anyone else) but I've got one that I think alot of other BF Forumites can relate to.

Let's say you have a knife up For Sale on BF or Ebay and you get an email. Normally you open it in anticipation that someone is interested in Buying or Trading on the knife. But NOOOOOOOO, once you open the mail you find that the sender, who makes no mention in their message that they are interested in purchasing/trading on the knife, merely wants to inform you that you're asking too much money for your knife! MAN that chaps my butt!

I suppose it's the fact that this person, who has no idea what YOU paid for the knife, is not interested in buying or trading, has no tact, all this coupled with the fact that he obviously feels that he's the self-appoointed Pricing Police.....

Don't get me wrong, I have sent inquiries on a knife before and offered a lower price than advertised, but if you establish the fact that you ARE interested in BUYING and you MAKE AN OFFER you have at least approached the negotiation step of buying. The Seller then replies that he is Firm on the price, needs the Cash, or he offers a skightly reduced but Final price. Ohh well..... That's my Peeve. Anyone else have this happen?

I'm with James, the exchange rate sucks...$1550 plus import duty and tax and shipping for a full dress LCC? Hell YES!!

Also sheeple putting grubby fingers all over yer knives. Knife legislation. Waiting. The 2 blokes who didn't send the knives I paid for assuming I'll never come to the States with that can o' whuppass. That Harikari troll. People who refuse to learn to tie knots yet call themselves riggers. Hell's Architects (Harley owners who can't ride). Waiting.
That was strangely cathartic, thanks
