Peter Beggren Scandi - MINTY, with some marks on the high polished blade from the rawhide sheath. Beautiful piece of work from a great maker. I haven't seen new stuff from Peter in awhile. This has a scary sharp 3" Ivan Linderborg blade with bronze(?) inlay at the spine. The handle is some kind of wood (not sure what), horn and wire/tin inlay. (( Do not post trade values. ))
I would like a straight trade for a MINT Dozier K2 with black micarta and the horizontal sheath - must have the Dozier edge
. Or a straight trade for a MINT Dozier K2.
Boon Home Thai e-nep. Waiting list is now over 8 or 9 months long due to domestic demand from Thailand knifeknuts. This is from the latest generation - Gen 4. 11 inches of razor sharp convexed spring steel, differentially tempered, forged finish. Tang is about 4 inches into the hardwood (chim chang) handle, and further secured by a pin (you don't see this in traditional rat tail choppers). Handmade and handforged and heat treated one at a time by the maker. Has had great reviews, and you don't need to sharpen this one out of the box.
