Up for sale is a full custom Peter Carey Nitro Mini Flipper.
This beauty just received a complete overhaul spa treatment from Peter.
Here is a list of the work done:
1) Blade re-finished - blasted/acid washed/stone-washed
2) Blade factory sharpened
3) Micro-crews and liners anodized (gold/bronze)
4) Pivot screw and pocket clip refinished.
The knife is basically new condition from Carey.
OAL - 7.5"
Blade - 3.25" CPM-154 Steel
Handle - 4 & 5/16"
Gold/Bronze Wire LSCF Handles
Gold/Bronze Dragon Spine Backspacer
Date - 9/2015
The blade steel and birthdate are etched on the inside of the scale.
For those of you aware of the Carey flipping sound, it is a double-click similar to an RJ Martin Q36. It truly is a supreme sound and a pleasure to hear in person.
The detent is strong and solid. The knife fires with authority and closes with a nice snap.
The blade centering is excellent. The lock-up
The blade is razor-sharp and the tumbled finish is gorgeous!!!
The black LSCF scales are adorned with beautiful gold wires.
The G-10 pivot collars (on both sides) are the perfect accent to this knife.
The crowning touch is the Carey Dragon Spine Backspacer. It is so incredible to see in person!!!
The excellent jimping for the ramp on the spine of the blade gives the user a perfect grip in the hand.
I love the way Peter created this knife with the user in mind. It's nice and light, making for the perfect EDC in your pocket.
