Peter, Wright and Wilkerson anvils. German made?

A local blacksmith shop is being sold at auction and the sale bill shows a number of Peter, Wright and Wilkerson anvils. And it states they are made in Germany. Does anyone know anything about these anvils? Quality? Are they really made in Germany? I'm hoping this might be an opportunity for me to pick up a good anvil, 200 pounds or so.

(Just a thought, Peter Wright sounds British, not German, even though that is what the sale bill said. Steve)

Peter Wright is English made, not sure about the other.

As Don said Peter Wright is English. And some of the best anvils made.

Peter Wright anvils are English, and tend to be very good quality.

Wilkerson was made in England.
