I did it with a 4 1/2" angle grinder with a 6" wheel on it. The face was straight and I just had to take out the scratches from the angle grinder with 80 grit emery and a precision ground piece of steel.:D And allot of elbow grease.;)
I could show you how to do yours if you want to bring it down.

Wa..Wa..Wally,

You did a super job on that anvil . Kook is very happy with the trade he made that day.

:confused:I think that was about 150lbs. Looks good!! Now you'll still have a good clean one to use when I pick up my Fisher!:D:D

Dewey, you have to stand in line for my 300# Fisher.:D The BBBBB Beaver keeps telling me that it's to heavy to move to AZ. He also saying the same thing about my HD.:jerkit::jerkit:;):D

I think that Big Bertha REALLY wants to live in NH when you move...she won't like all that open sky and hot weather.

Looking good bro!! I refaced my 500# PW a couple of summers ago. It's a LOT of hard work, believe me. Copper bars make it so much easier though. Now get busy and let's see something with mesquite handles on it, and I'll show you (eventually) something with my anchor chair you sent me.
