About to order a PCKS 110, I have a few questions.

1) Anybody have rivets in stag handles? I've seen rivets in stag handles on a number of other makers' knives. Just wondering how they turn out on a 110.

2) What's the best way to order? Call the order in or place it on the website?

3) What is the usual turn around time on a custom 110?

I built one for future purchase today. The site gave 2 different prices, so watch as it adds up.If it adds ok then place the order on line ,if not I'd call Buck.
I'm into the rivits, but I shy away on a natural material like bone or stag because I worry chipping around the pins. That may be worrying over nothing.
The wait is said to be 4-6 weeks, but most of us have received them inless time.
hope this helps, enjoy your new PCKS

I ordered a PCKS 110FG back in September 2002 through the website & received it in just about 4 weeks. Your order time will probably depend on handle material & blade steel availability. I chose Brown Elk Horn handle without rivets. Only reason I ordered without rivets was I like the 'clean' look of the horn - would think the rivets are not going to cause you any problem! I recently tried ordering a 2nd PCKS 110 & after filling in all the spaces & going through checkout, got the message: '...an error processing your credit card transaction. - HTTP request failed.' So this time my order will be phoned in to Buck, shortly. Good luck with your PCKS 110, I'm sure you'll like it!;)
