Very cute dog, and loves you enough to be tolerant of a knife on the head. Any chance your dog's a Corgi? Looks sort of like one, but hard to judge the scale from the pic.

Thanks. Yes, he's very patient with me putting silly things on his head while he's sunning himself. Usually just leaves or pine needles. That knife was only on his head long enough for me to snap the picture and then I took it off so he wouldn't bonk himself on the snout with it.
I'm honestly not sure what breed he is. His previous owner thought he was a Chihuahua, but he's a bit big to be one of those. His legs are too long for a Corgi, though he does seem to possess some Corgi traits. Corgihuaua?
