PFAFF model 138, good enough for sheaths??

Hello all, glad to be here. First of all, thank you for the kind words, we do our very best. We pride ourselves on customer service and honesty, and we sell top quality machinery. We have a great reputation and would never compromise our integrity by offering our customers machinery that does not meet our standards. We do not cut corners anywhere. With that said, there has been talk regarding Juki and the Juki clones. Juki has factories in Japan and China. They do this so they can compete with the Chinese market. The COBRA Class 4 has interchangeable parts with the Juki 441 and are guaranteed for life, because we stand behind our products. We have an advantage in this market because our broker which happens to be my partner's brother has been dealing with all of the Asian factories for over 40 years and has a quality control facility in China as well. Feel free to give us a call at 1-866-962-9880 if you need more info, or if you need help in any way. We also offer help on our competitors machines too. Thanks again for the opportunities you have given us. Thanks, Cobra Steve

Yep, that is one HEAVY package.

That reminds me Steve, I owe you a call this spring, further talks. I need help in the worst way.

Thanks Sam, I might take a look at those.

But first I have to give Steve a call, I would really love to get a Cobra if I could. Only thing I need to figure out before I call him so I don't waste too much of his time is the model I need. Class 3 or Class 18 seem like the most likely models. I will be using this to sew linings too that's why a Class 3 might be too beefy. And of course it is 600$ less, that also doesn't hurt. :o

I have a Cobra class 3 machine that I bought from Steve when he first began offering them. The customer support and warranty service I received from Steve is world class. If I find myself in the market for another machine, Cobra will be the brand I buy.

Now if I could just find the time to make some sheaths......

Nick, can I ask if you use your Cobra 3 to do the linings and inlay too and if so, how much work is it to switch needles, thread and settings?
Thanks.
