The Chitlangi arrived today!! You're right Yvsa, it does dissapear in my hand! I can see why everyone is so enthusiastic about the Chitalangi, it is just absolutely beautiful. Very light and quick despite the length of the blade. This is a weapon! This will be the one that will sit near to hand as I sleep.
I can see the hammer ripples in the chirras that you mentioned Uncle but they don't detract from the beauty of this blade. The wood that was used for the handle has good figure and grain patterns and will look outstanding with a little woodchuckery. The edge needs some touching up but that's okay, I'll enjoy it. The blade practically sings when I run my carbide burnishing rod down it's length.
This is my "Bond Girl". Beautiful, quick and deadly.:D :D
