  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

PGA#2 for 3/18 -- 21" GS by Kesar

Boy, I never knew there was so much to learn about Khukuris. (or is it just the Cantina?;)

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've been pretty much lurking here for a couple of weeks. Bought a second hand 20" Sirupati (not HI) and I was hooked. Then a 16" Chiruwa AK, then the 21" GS, 25" Sirupati, and the 15" AK. The last three haven't arrived yet.
Got some Hooflex for my horn handles. Love the smell of it! Makes me think of Khuks. Just like tuff-cloth makes me think of my other knives. Trying to get my wife to wear it for perfume.:D

Ever since I started treating my horn handles, Hooflex has become one of those scents, like Hoppe's No. 9, that evokes pleasant thoughts. Now I associate the scent of pine pitch with the feel of a hefty AK in my hand.

Welcome to the Cantina Steve!!!!:) You dayumed near slipped by me like a few others have lately.:)
And to answer your question........It's the Cantina.:D

Just be on the lookout for Tsimi aka Daffy, The Duck, Dog Taco Eater, (I prefer cat tacos myself and it serves the world a service by getting rid of feral cats.;))...jim L.clifton aka etc, etc, etc, etc, ad nauseum.:)
Tsimi claims there's no such thing as HIKV, which you've obviously noticed by now, and says he's a kindly old, actually OLD, sainted researcher, but he's just really after anyone's khukuris....
