this developed in a thread called " The Phantom of the Khukura " that Spark closed after it had grown to 80 pages and 1700 responses because it was slowing the entire forum down. It's in the archives.

It involved ribald and low humor on the order you would expect from 1st and 2nd graders interspersed with occasional ( very occasional ) scintillating wit. About a half of their wit was more like it.

jim l clifton ( the duck ) has allowed ( even encouraged ) people to take their best shots and then stand there and wait for him to give it right back.

There's really nothing to worry about unless you're in the mental health field. But then you already know the truth is same as with parents: Insanity is the natural reaction to raising kids or trying as a counselor to bring nutsos back to functial living.

HA... back to using two computers (and probably innocent interns) to scope out premium khuks for you!??!! I THOUGHT you had gone through rehabilitation... with the help of strong meds... and RETIRED!

Unfortunately, I... a supporter of all that is good and pure... a champion in the fight AGAINST HIKV... cannot fight your evil ways this time. I will shortly be in school, then on the road for extended periods, separated from access to my beloved computer (sniff).

But I FEAR NOT... as others here of similar ilk will take up the gauntlet and fight you in the fields, trenches, and the marshes (and caves too if we ever find that secret entrance)... and PREVENT you from getting ALL the khuks!!! :D:D:D

I hear you Heber. I just finished getting out of debt, going back almost 5 years with a credit card and I want to stay level for a while.

Well, the return of the duck should keep this thread BTTT so more forumites know there's still two swords up for grabs.

That 31 inch 42 ounce has me intrigued. maybe by the reunion date I'll have some cc funds to appropriate it.

Rusty, you're not the only one eyeing that 31-incher by Bura. However, I already have more swords than I need (translation: I have one sword ;) ). This one might look nice hanging next to the Everest Katana, though...

Hm..... I don't have a sword yet. Maybe I shouldn't pay rent in March and just get one of these beauties. lol:p
 
Center, 31 inch Tibetan Sword GTNM -----------JUST JOKING!

Alot of us have been eyeing it.:) 2.56 lbs 31.5 inch Balanced.

I'm having trouble keeping up on the maintenance of the inventory I have.

The 18 inch Bura AK Horn Handle I recently acquired from UB. I have lovingly applied hooflex many times, again, just two days ago. Have it sitting by my headboard. Lo and behold a 4 inch crack developed in the handle. Repaired it with several layers of Bondino. Yes,:) I finally got some, just in time. Now have to get it polished up.

My special order bone handled BGRS is starting to show signs of crazing?. Hope it doesn't split.

Haven't seen a Khukuri , I didn't like! Sometimes, need alot of TLC.
 
I really like that top sword also. Just the way I like them. Longish and sort of heavy.. What I wish I had gotten was a horn and silver handeled Katana Uncle had for sale some time back. It had a real large curve to it, instead of the straitish ones you usually see.
 
So far I have searched under the pillows on the sofa, $1.50, if it was quarters I could do a load of laundry...hmm

This aint working...anybody that wants it better take it...I am going to go count my pennies...
