This one is made from 1/8th thick 1095H steel, blade was heated to 1550 degrees held for 5 minutes and immediately quenched in brine. Then it was tempered for 2, two hour cycles at 400 degrees. The razor sharp drop point blade is 3 1/2 inches to the plunge cuts ground thin for skinning of game. The Cocobolo handle has been finished with Tru-oil, and sealed with Bri-wax.It is secured by six (6) 1/8th stainless pins, with a 1/4in lanyard hole. Overall length is 9 inches. Blade is 4 inches to the front of the Cocobolo scales.
The sheath is made by me from 10-11 ounce veg. tanned leather finished out with neatsfoot oil, and sealed.

I really like the looks of that blade. It does not look that big in the first pics but the pic with it in hand it looks to be good size knife.

Thanks for the encouragement, I do appreciate all comments. I would say that this knife is medium size, it has an overall length of 9 inches. The blade is 3 1/2 inches to the plunge cuts, and is 1 1/4 inches from the edge to the top of the spine. The handle design allows for 3 comfortable different grip locations while working if needed.
