Phantom Knives - Great !

Just wanted to let you all know what great customer service this company provides. Last Friday I received a Rip Cord Medallion knife I had ordered from an online vendor. When I opened the box I found the knife to be very dull – the cutting edge was actually shiny ! Rather than return it to the vendor (who I am sure would have given me no problem) I decided to contact the company directly via email. Within an hour or so I received an email from VP Marianne Halpern urging me to return the knife and thanking me for bringing it to their attention. I shipped the knife Saturday and it was back on my doorstep Thursday along with a check for my postage. All along the way I was kept abreast when the knife was received and when it was shipped back to me. I think this is customer service at its best. I would not hesitate to buy anything this company produces.

I was looking at one of these.

How was it when you got it back? Was it a good buy? Overall opinion?
 
Ohen... when I got the knife back it was very sharp. The knife is very well built and seems like it will hold up to a fair amount of abuse, although I haven't used it much. I think there are better choices for a neck knife as this knife is a bit thick, BUT, when you use the belt clip it's great - the sheeple mught not even know it is a knife.
