I downloaded this picture onto my computer way back when, but have no contact information on the maker and if this knife or a similar one might be for sale. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

thats an interesting variant. funny i thought i was the only one who had a cord wrap like that on my tracker. Guess not!

That looks like an original Tom Brown Tracker... maybe before the final design and before TOPS started making them. Or maybe a copy of his design or something. Pretty steep bevel on the hatchet end, looks like.

Now I like that design. The sawback looks like it is for looks. Thanks for posting.

I am not sure guys, but that looks like a knife that I saw a pic of a while back on the usualsuspect forums. You may want to check it out there to see if you can find who made it. If I get the time tomorrow, I will check and see if I can find it as well. Not sure if the person who made it is on there, a relative, or they may have just found the pic and posted it as well. Hope you can find out! -Damion

Thanks StretchNM-

I've got a Predator coming (just paid for it this morning), but the one pictured above is sufficiently different that I'd love to have it as well.

iirc the orignals were David Beck's after he changed Tom Brown's designs.i think Tops started making them only after the movie.but i could be mistaken

To be quite honest fellas, I really don't think it's an original Tom Brown Tracker we see here. This sucker has spawned within the last two or so years...this I know for sure. We all know this baby is not a Beck verison, nor any of the well known makers of this style of knife. I am doing some research on it tonight...let you know what I find :)

Wasn't there some guy sellin' ones like that off E-Prey about ten or twelve months ago? I swear I remember something like that......

could be my defective memory though....

In any case, that's certainly one of the best looking copies I've seen out there. Very good looking! (And I aint even a fan of that style!)

As I have 2 Tops Trackers, 2 RS6 wsk's and a Horan wsk in the making (hopefully, haven't heard from Tim lately suspect he's busy) I would not mind getting an e-mail about the maker of this version also.....(if there's a chance to have one made).

PLEASE

He there! I am still here working on these knives. Your knife is profiled out and should be ready in a few weeks Mr. Wilson! I have had a few rush orders for military guys and had to get them out ASAP.
