A perfect knife in every way, from the most recent Don Guild offering. I've decided it's just not me. It's a gorgeous, absolutely perfect piece, but still a folder - not what I tend to keep when I buy it.
Phil Boguszewski is known worldwide for the precision and close tolerances of his fit. Excellent work from the tip of the blade throughout the spine. Carved, fluted handle is done in a presentation piece of pink ivorywood, which grows in South Africa and takes hundreds of years of growth to become large enough. Thumb opening and rear lock.
4" blade of ATS-34, 8 3/4" overall, 416SS fittings, scales of South African pink ivorywood of the best quality. Tacoma maker's mark.
