Phil Wilson Bird and Trout.

Beautiful, a very well thought out design. I'm sure you will enjoy it for many more years.

Thanks everyone. @trevitrace That Bow River is very nice. @RPN My wait wasn't very long. I was fortunate enough to contact Mr. Wilson and he happened to be making two of these.

Here are a couple of quick an dirty pics of my bird & trout. I've taken her out on a couple of camping trips lately and she's quite the capable slicer.

Lovely knives, thanks for sharing. I'm a big fan of Mr. Wilson's work. He seems to have it figured out to simply, exactly what needs to be there to cut really well, and nothing extra.

Thanks Ankerson, I am in love with it already, and I have only sharpened it!

You had to SHARPEN it? I had one of his knives, and it would cut molecules into atoms... :)

His blade is the sharpest (by far) that I've ever had, out of hundreds of knives. Wonderful quality.

Write2DGray that wood is gorgeous. Very nice!

Sonny I'm kind of weird where no matter how sharp a knife Is sent to me I still have to sharpen it myself :D.

Phil has a Bird & Trout collab with Spyderco planned... ETA is probably a ways off but all that is known is that it will be in S90v and it will be called the Sprig. We do not yet know the length (3.25 up to four), handle material and color etc... Also, I wonder if there are other steels they are considering for this.

It probably wont be ground as thin as a custom and def won't be HT'd like one, but it's something I'm looking forward to nonetheless. I really like Phil's take on the B&T.
