Just received from Phillip but unfortunately it is just a bit too large for my needs. This was to be one of his 5 JS submission knives

Forged W2 flat ground 59-60RC, beautiful satin finish

416SS guard

Desert Ironwood handle with lots of depth and life.

12.25" o/l, 6.25" cutting edge,7" tip to guard

One slight flaw in the handle made Phillip decide to sell this knife privately. The handle cracked slightly at the butt when the thong tube was pressed in. Phillip removed the tube, glued the wood then reinserted the tube. 1/4" crack is barely visible but I've tried my best to photograph it.

There is no doubt that this is JS quality. Fit/finish/grinds are perfect , spine is nicely radiused and it is built to use.
-black leather pouch sheath by maker

Offered f/s as purchased from Phillip at $270 (250 for knife + 20 shipping)
