Phillips on Squirt EL?

I don't own one of these but was just looking at some pictures on ebay, and noticed that it looks like the phillips on the Radio Shack Squirt has a 3-D type design, where as the one's I've seen have the "flat phillips". Is this a new design for all the squirts, or a unique feature on the EL. I like it, it's got to beat those flats. Anyone know anything about this?
 
I've got several Squirts (no, not THOSE kind of squirts!) but only the EL has the "3-D" phillips screwdriver. Leatherman does a pretty good job of it too, contouring the side of the screwdriver bit so that a "full" Phillips head fits into a space where only a flat blade should fit. Cool!

But why didn't they put this 3-D Phillips blade on all of the Squirt versions?

While out and about yesterday I saw something I've been subconsciously looking for - Radio Shack going out of business sign. I made a quick turn off the road and practically dragged the little lady with me into the store and with much glee I snagged the last Leatherman Squirt EL they had. It wasn't quite as cheap as I was hoping for, but I got it for half price ($20) - Couldn't imagine getting it cheaper unless I looked real hard for it, so I took it and ran. It's a neat little critter - don't know how much "hard" use I'll put it through, but it does look good on the keyring. I can't remember who posted the info, but I remember seeing somewhere on Blade Forums about looking for the going out of business thing and snagging some good deals. As much as I enjoy reading the threads that float around here, it sure is dangerous to spend much time doing it as I've at least trippled my multi-tool collection thanks to hearing about sales, product reviews, etc. Oh well, at least I've got something good to spend my money on now!!
