Phoenix Abrasives

I recently received a few sample belts from Phoenix, 80 grit ceramic and a 400 grit AO. I'm pleased with the way the ceramic 80 grit belt works. Cuts well, runs Smooth and accurate. I have not used it enough to determine its longevity. The guys I spoke to were real helpful.

They were at Blade and are pushing hard into then knife biz. If their belts are as they describe, then the prices sure look right for now.

They sent me a box of those grits I normally use. I'm satisfied they will do the job. And they are price friendly!
I have been paying 50& more from Klingspor.
My next order will be with Phoenix.

Do you have a link? Google doesn't find them. Oops found them. Used the wrong search terms. Not much info on the website tho.

I saw them at blade.. Heard they had some pretty bold claims but I didn't talk to them.. From afar the belts looked suspect, but I usually defer to cynicism. ;\

I'll be curious to hear a comparison between these and other *top* end belts like the Blaze or Cubitron II's.

While I'm not going to make a comparison to other belts I ordered 40 60grit premium zirc
in April from Shaun. No compaints and very pleased.
Ken.
