But that thin blade wouldn't interfere with normal operation of a mobile phone (notebook computer, portable CD player, etc.) - proving that the gadget works wouldn't pose a problem at all and unless it got caught by a metal detector it would be smuggled though. Oh well, so much for extra "security".

But if you do get caught, you're not going to be able to claim forgetfullness or another innocent excuse. As far as airport security goes, it's going to be looked at as a weapon and nothing else.
