Hi,
I send an email to the customer service e-mail address of photonlights / LRI about the failures our Scouting group has experienced with almost all first generation Photon III's (7 of them) in Red and White color. They eat batteries and at $5 for each CR2032 or CR2016 that's expensive and I mean they drain the batteries quickly without even using the light itself.
And the 7 modes of most don't work all 7 sometimes only 2-3 of the modes unless I take the batteries out for a night and replace them then the modes sometimes work again for some time.
It's the last time we will ever buy an 'first generation' product and the reply speed from their customer service isn't making me happier either.
We'll be buying Inova Microlights in the future, we did so already, had some problems and even before our returned led-lights arrived at their place we had received a box with new ones and some extras on top, that's what I call customer service, thanks again Matthew S. Wolfe
.
Best Scouting wishes from Holland,
Bagheera
