*** PHOTOS *** My new Lion Steel SR1-B

Sweet knife Vege! Is this knife still available for sale from Lion steel? If so do I go to the LS home page to pay and order? I was on the original list but had to drop out.

Just an FYI, you can adjust the pivot with the tool, but you can also use a standard hex wrench as well.

I don't know. I bought mine from a dealer. Unfortunately, it was the last one they had.

Got one and I love it except for the slippery handles. Had an XM-18 and it was larger than the SR-1. This knife has everything you want in a folder! Now, if they only made a smaller one with a 3 inch blade!! Also has a glass breaker on top of the clip, you know !!

Damn! I have been trying to pick one of these up . . . with no luck.

Thanks for posting, though. Keeps me looking. . . .

that is a solid looking knife, the short pocket clop would worry me a little but i guess id have to carry it to really know. Looks pretty awesome though

I like Italian made items... I drove (... and rebuilt!) Alfa Romeo's for years. I followed the many entries here in BF re the SR-1. Love the pictures. My choice was between it and a CRK to commemorate my retirement - I opted for the 'StarTac' Umnumzaan, partially in an attempt to 'buy American', but also because no wait was involved. I made the right choice - for me. Another find - last month at a gunshow - was a $140 LN BM 630 Skirmish - a 6.84 oz 4.3" x .160" S30V bladed Ti framelock. It joins it's brother - another 630 - and it's smaller brother, a 635BK - both too neat to EDC just anywhere/anytime. At $140 invested, I can carry the latest 630 as an EDC. I have not lost a good knife thus far in my life, but losing something like the SR-1 or my 'zaan would be terrible, to say the least.

Why did I have to look at the SR-1 again?? Love my Skirmish's... love my 'zaan... who has the SR-1 in stock???

Fickle.

Congrats on the knife. I loved it for a couple weeks, then got too heavy and slippery for me. But wish i didnt trade it.

The SR-1 is my favorite production folder after the XM-24. I actually like it better than the XM-18 because it has a slightly longer edge.

Just bought a blue one, had to go on line to a Italian dealer to get it. out of stock everywhere in the states... Comeing fed ex by next week.. woo hoo

Had to spend right at $380 to get it because of the stupid exchange rate but it was in stock ready to ship and he said a gen 1 version.

buying my new xm-18 sometime this week. cant wait to compare the 2..

Does anyone know how slippy the handle is compared to a large sebenzas handle.

Also can the blade be flicked out ?

Blade is pretty tight on mine, it opens smooth but it's really tight, so I can't "flick" it. I think the handle feels great with the ribs, blade is very thick compared to the Sebenza. Grip is different but as secure IMO.
