  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Welcome back.
That looks like a Gerber Mk1 copy. Julius Herbertz had knives made all over the world. Where is that dagger made?
Anything on the other side ricasso?
I bought this knife in Munich from a Bundeswehr used army shop. This firm ordered knives from Asia Taiwan mainly and sold by private orders.

Knife from the family of the Don Cossack Adrian Yakovlevich Chekmarev (1892-1961). He fought in the Budenov division then in Central Asia with the Basmachs. He got the knife from his father. The great-granddaughter said that the knife was passed on through the male line when it appeared in the family she does not know. A comment from a reader to a post on Instagram: "Turkish, trophy - I saw a similar one from someone from my relatives (I am from Don)." At the end the photo of Adrian Yakovlevich.
