Every spring I usually rotate out and in some new knives.
Some knives get rotated out just because I like them too much and if they're around I won't grab for other knives. The Delica is a good example. The Blur is also close. Those two and that GEC lockback could be if I had to have only one everyday knife what would it be - then these knives would be it.
What's surprising is that the pricier knives that I once had like Sebenzas and ever Southards did not make the EDC cut so I've found my own personal likes in knives at a lower price point which I wasn't ok with at some point if that makes any sense. I'm ok with that now to just like what I like and not chase unicorns.
I still have on my bucket list to one day get a real Dozier and some customs but I'm not in a rush.
I also try to continue with what got me into trying out knives to begun with "great budget knives at low cost."
I usually giveaway or trade out the budget knives. So far the mora has been a keeper. This year I think I want to either go with a Condor product for yard work or maybe an Ontario product for yard work... Past great budget knives have been the kabar dozier lockback. It's with faults and all a fantastic lightweight edc. Rough riders as a brand almost across the board also holds that honor.
The photo though represents knives that I use most in rotation. Do you do anything similar to this I try to conscientiously do this every spring...
