A couple of days late as usual for me (let's call it fashionably late tough!) but Uncle Matty always delivers! I currently own 7 different CPK patterns (and their variants) and a couple of each in my possession with the exception of the preordered BC. Here are 2 of the double delights. A couple more patterns like the UFs and the Shivs for tomorrow, maybe!

EDC1 and EDC2 both in D3V plus all their factory and custom "trimmings":

FK D3V and and the before delta FK 3V in the very rare "satin" (horizontally sanded) finish, plus their factory and custom gears:

Hmmm, that one with the black G10........looks like it has a snail trail. Might want to send it my way as to not bring down the aesthetics of the collection, least I could do for a friend.

Yessir, although I added those particular scales later on in the FK’s life. I don’t believe that the forest green G10 scales were available as an option when those 3V versions were being made, but I could be wrong!

Actually it doesn't. It had a little tuf-glide residue which wiped right off after the picture was taken….so I guess I'll have to keep it

Initial impression time first and foremost this thing is just sexy as F!!! And it feels amazing in the hand. Seriously Mr Carothers is some kinda wizard. The handles and shape just melts into your hand and becomes an extension. Friggin awesome. It us light surprisingly so even though it's in the name lol.
I haven't been able to use it as i just walked in from a 12 hour shift but friday this bad boy will receive the beating of its life. If you have a chance to buy one of these light choppers do it immediately and thank me later lol

Definitely need a set of unbuffed micarta for it maybe od green so it matches the rest of the family lol

Grunty, congrats and you've done very well for yourself in such a short amount of time. Of course having the ability and the means to snag these up on the secondary market takes both dedication and the willingness to spend above / over.

I don't recall that there were ever any OD green micarta handle sets for the LC but I have not done extensive research on that. Try to research every single LC sale thread both on here and also on the knife makers' forum, started by Nathan the Machinist (some advance search-fu knack is required!). I'm sure that if you persevere and stick to the sales threads like bee on honey, you will also manage to snag an FK sooner than later

Yeah I'll keep watching lol. I'll score a field knife one day. Or just wait for the fk2 lol. I have been very lucky on getting a couple grail knives and all at very fair prices.

I had seen those scales in the past-past sales threads but lately, the funkier scales seem to have only ended up on Table 6D at the recent Blade Shows! That Jo, keeps some aces up her sleeves. Scratch that, she always wears short sleeves to show off her guns
